Arija taught me how to latch Haven before she was born. At the hospital they just kinda threw me in & if it wasn't for Arija, I would have had no idea how to do it. Words can't explain how grateful I am to have a sis and a doula who is so selfless. When I hit 40 weeks, Tabitha asked me how I was feeling. I told her I was so drained, sluggish and in a lot of discomfort. She comes over in minutes with an energy smoothie and gave the best prenatal massage. Hours later, I went into a 2 hour labor. Every contraction she was there to help ease the pain and offer words of affirmations. I couldn't have gotten through my birth without her. Arija has been a blessing to me on my  birthing and breastfeeding journey. I gave birth in May 2017. I would see Arija talk about her journey with so much passion so I started to inbox her ask her questions before I had my son.  I am going 7 months strong exclusively breastfeeding my son.
